NHRA Northwest Nationals - Seattle, WA

Seattle was another good weekend for the team at a new venue for the Pro Stock Motorcycle class. Seattle is a great facility with enthusiastic fans and it was a fun first visit with the team.

Our Denver efforts qualified us for the Mission 2 Fast 2 Tasty challenge that took place on Saturday, and gave us a chance at redemption on Gaige Herrera from the semi-final loss in Denver. I got the starting line advantage, but was unfortunately outrun by Gaige and the Vance and Hines team. We ended the day Saturday qualified 7th which paired us with Jianna Evaristo heading into Sunday.

First round was a great race with Jianna as we were close off the starting line and laid down a 6.799 at 198.58 mph which was our best effort of the weekend. Round two paired us with Eddie Krawiec. I got the starting line advantage again, but was outrun and fell to Eddie. We slowed to a 6.860 and were .010 behind at the finish line.

Overall, it was a good weekend for the team and we are hoping to get the chance to race in Seattle again!
